X5 and Geotag issue... Fixed yet?

Did DJI ever fix the issue with altitude differences as noted in this quote???

GPS height data can never be relied on. The 347m is well above the height I was flying (max 120m) and my elevation (approx. 57m). However, this geotag is for the JPG image, the corresponding DNG image is tagged with 116.80m which I would say is correct. Other pairs are showing a 230m difference between the 2 formats within the same flight. Other flights show a 120-130m difference. This is obviously a bug.

Edited: The lat/long for both formats is the same in every case and is accurate.

I'm on the fence whether to upgrade my drone with an X5...
I'm looking around at unresolved issues still open on the X5 and it's FW...

As of 31 Jan 2016, I am still showing an error of 60m between DNG and JPEG X5 images using latest firmware.

Any update on this issue?
I emailed support several times and I keep getting the reply:

Please note the following :
JPG: Absolute Altitude(Height above sea level)
DNG：Relative Altitude(Height between the aircraft and home point)

While I was certainly not flying at -230 meters, rather 30 meters above main sea level !!

They just ignore the issue, is that some kind of chinese politeness thing??

GPS altitude is not very reliable if that's what DJI is using. It should be using barometric altitude which is much more accurate.

It should not attempt to convert height relative to the takeoff point to MSL unless it can update the given pressure for that day.
