Inspire 1 X5 gimbal disconnected

Dragging this one up but is there a solution??

my inspire 1 v2 X5 gimbal has full gimbal control, powers on and displays green light.
However on the app I get gimbal disconnected and DJI logo instead of image.
Have tried it on an osmo and same issue.

Inspire works with another X5

help please.

Firmware is up to date (2017 Fw)
