Hi,Sorry for your loss, do you have dji care?Landing on boat is always tricky. If there are waves and the boat goes up and down, this may fool the sensors that drone is still in the air. Absolute best is hand catching but can't imagine doing that with m30.
I have launched and recovered the M30T a good few times onboard a large steel ship while underway and have experienced the M30T fly off several times. Broken many blades and one arm. Trying to land it on a moving platform (even at slow speeds 3kts is extremely challenging) . I don’t know if it’s the interference from the metal or the electrical signals but happens all the time. Hand recovery is the only real option but need legs similar to Phantom 4 for safety reasons.
