Btw for future reference the DJI Focus works amazingly well for pulling focus with the X5. Much better than the app control

Btw, i got the v2 because the pro was too expensive for my wife to approve. I have to hide the x5 camera's real price since she thinks is just a small upgrade hehehe

For the price the 14/42 is really nice. Here is what I use day to day.

Olympus 12mm
Olympus 14/42mm
Olympus 45mm
DJI 15mm

I know I am spoiled but it works.

This is the lens I use. I use the hood that goes with the 45 mm Olympus lens. It requires a slight amount of modding to fit correctly but it is very easy. I would be glad to help you. Just give me a shout.

That particular hood does not fit on the 14/42 out of the box. It is about. mm to small in diameter inside opening. I use a dremel tool to slightly enlarge the opening of the hood. With a little love and patience it will slip on and work great. The lens stays in the open position when attached to the X5. Be sure to remove the hood if you put the 14/42 on a.reg camera as the lens will retract when you power it down and damage the lens. I'm sure you already know that but I wanted to mention it. I know because I forgot and almost broke my lens.

Here is my set up it balances perfectly and I can use one hood on all of my Olympus lenses and they work really nice.
