Sorry if this is a repeated question, but am I understanding the FAA requirements correctly...specifically...that I must have an Airman's Certificate (Pilot's License) in order to be approved for an exemption? I understand all of the other requirements that need to be fulfilled prior to awarding the exemption (i.e. N-number, COA, etc.). I have been flying drones recreationally for years and didn't need a pilots license...at least not that I knew of.
Again, I apologize if this has been asked. Am I reading the "Public Guidance for Petitions for Exemption Filed Under Section 333" right?
Thanks.
Tim
