Hope it is okay to post this here.
I recently built a modest app to help create operating areas, that are imported into DJI Pilot 2 for the Matrice series to fly as mapping or oblique missions.
It runs on Windows, and with it you can create operating areas or mission areas really quickly and easily, slicing up operating areas and adjusting as you go.
Spits out KML files in organized project folders which you can copy to a DJI controller, and import into the Pilot 2 app.
Its free, written in C# as a modern app using .Net.
Really just sharing for enthusiasts who like this kind of thing, I wrote it so I can turbo-charge how quickly I can create these missions using a keyboard and mouse.
There are paid-for-products and free versions of such out there that do similar things, but being the developer of the app lets me express ideas and features without begging a vendor to add them.
Apps here on my company website: Tools – ElevatedVision
Let me know how you get on, documentation is in the app (click ?).
