Conversion of DAT file

I'm trying to get more detailed performance data from the Matrice 300 .dat files available by connecting the 300 to Assistant 2 and downloading the flight info. I've tried datcon (Extractdji.exe) and not had a lot of success yet. Maybe I'm trying to convert the wrong file or using the wrong tool . . . Anyone know a simple way to get manageable csv files converted

did you make any progress so far?
I'm keen to get a M300 .dat converted too. Anything csv/xls/kml/gpx like would be great. But so far I basically only scratched my head...
