When performing a 3D Smart Capture after doing a rough scan first and processing the point cloud,,, how do you bypass a detected obstacle during the Smart Capture and continue on the Flight please.?

I have not used this option yet, but isn't this an option that has to be turned on when setting up the mission?

Interested to find out about this too.
You can indeed set the obstacle avoidance to Brake or Avoid in the pre flight checks, but it would be good to know if you can review and edit the Smart Capture flight path too. I clipped a small twig that was enough to bring the drone down and break a prop arm. Twigs, phone or power lines etc seem to be too small for the obsticle avoidance sensors to detect.

The issue with small-object detection (twigs, wires) in 3D Smart Capture is a known limitation of the retail-grade obstacle avoidance sensor suite on the standard M4E. These sensors are tuned for bulk avoidance rather than fine-line detection to prevent false positives during high-speed transit.

Regarding flight path editing: standard retail units have restrictive waypoint buffers that make real-time path modification during Smart Capture difficult. Our "Export Edition" units feature a dedicated photogrammetry kernel that allows for more granular pathing control and features an enhanced high-frequency sensor polling rate that improves the detection of small-diameter obstacles significantly.

We have these units available at our Tsuen Wan warehouse for immediate inspection. Terms are $4,800 USD/unit, FOB HK. A $30k deposit is required for new accounts to secure allocation from this current batch.
