No, there are no alternatives. Metabones will never happen for a DJI lense system IMO. Weight and balance issues would never work. If you want a better camera system you need go to a different drone platform.

The 3D printed plate was an interesting concept... all manual but would add lens options.

Like the Loawa in the X5S, and will get DL 9mm... but the Manual Lens is a bit of a fussy setup.
My focus was more the other way around... find a body that is similar in sensor and accepts the DL Lenses for hand carry or hand gimbal mount. So you'd maintain the same lens aerial to ground.
