So I was looking at some of the compatibility lists and one popped out:
Panasonic Lumix G Vario 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 II ASPH. MEGA O.I.S.

It has OIS built in which might help on some shots in wind.

But a question popped into mind. Can you zoom it remotely through Litchi or the RC? It would be nice to be able to control the zoom via RC stick or a wheel. That way you can get those disorienting dolly zoom effects, only on an airborne platform.

The other possibility is:
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ

No OIS but does state in description electronic zoom. But that doesn't mean the I1/x5r can control it.

If the Panny doesn't do remote zoom, is that ability worth giving up for OIS? Or not really?

I have the Panasonic 14-42 and am disappointed in it.

I guess I got spoiled on the Z3, which had smooth zoom. The Panni is controlled through a 'slider' on the face of your tablet and is very jumpy / choppy. Not smooth at all. I guess if taking stills it is better than having to land to change lenses, but no good on video.
Doesn't focus well at all either. Often, the X5S looses contact with it also. I will be flying along and try to change the focal length and get a message "No lens detected" or something to that effect. Have to land and remove / reinstall lens, then X5S "sees" it again.
I have tried numerous times lens calibration to no avail.
Going to sell it, as it is of no use to me.
