X5R Balancing Ring Question

Hello from Ireland,

I have a phantom 4 and am considering upgrading to the Inspire Raw.

I've read that balancing rings are needed for certain lenses for the X5R camera. I presume that we have to buy the balancing rings separately?

It all depends on the lenses you'll be using.
Check the list of compatible lenses (for the X5) and which ones require a balancing ring:

DJI MFT 15mm f/1.7 ASPH *
Panasonic Lumix 15mm f/1.7 *
Olympus M. ED 12mm f/2.0
Olympus M.Zuiko 17mm f/1.8 *
Olympus M.Zuiko ED 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ *
(photography only)
Olympus M.Zuiko 25mm f1.8
Olympus M.Zuiko 45mm f1.8
(photography only)
*Requires a balancing weight

Balancing ring is purchased separately straight at the DJI online store.
I bought one for the M. Zuiko ED 14-42mm and it works perfectly.
