Is the X5 a viable video choice these days? Has the IQ and/or CODEC improved any? I really want to replace my current setup with either a z15/gh4 or an x5 variant. The X5R certainly ticks a lot of boxes execpt I'm not a fan of the SSD media (XQD would have been so much nicer) nor the cost considering its overall usefulness to me. This leaves me considering the X5 but I'm not convinced...

The huge price drops in the Inspire 1 indicate that an Inspire 2 announcement might happen soon. And to speculate further, maybe an updated X5 camera might be announced too.
The X5 is good, but the codec ruins the video pretty badly. If they introduce an X5 variant with a better SOC and higher video bit rate, that's definitely the one you want.
