This is my weekend project that will go for as long as it takes till I'm happy with it...
Plan is work with www.caseclub.com to either have them built it... or at least cut all the foam...

This is this weekends results so far... started on yesterday once I had a accurate 3D model
DJI .step file imported into SketchupPro 2015...
Plan was figure out how to properly hold the M100 securely...
Then how many batteries can I get in there, and how...
That's as far as I got so far...

Just to give some details... as it stands right now... (subject to change of course)
I'm picturing a lift out foam insert (23x23x6 or so) that holds lighter and smaller items...
It will drop into the top and fit over the bottom section...
The posted is the bottom 7 inches of foam insert... glued into the case... drawn as 24x24x7...
(inches if you wondering)

The case I am using as a reference is this design... for planning purposes for now...
SKB 3I-2424-14 Case Waterproof, Unbreakable, Industrial Case

Open the lid... you can access items in the top insert section...
Pull the insert out (will have lift handles) and set aside...
...can access the bottom section as shown...

Again... this is a weekend only project... (PC with CAD is offsite from where I live, work)
SO... I think on it during the week... work on it on the weekends...

I anyone has comments, questions... they are welcome...
But no... I'm not going to design you a custom case...
...however www.caseclub.com may offer a copy of this one later...
...after I have mine... ;)

edit - spelling... JA

Next to do, I think...
I believe I can fit in three X3 camera cases (RGB, NDVI, IR)
Two battery heaters... and not sure what else in the bottom...
Will work on that next weekend... :)

Just to clarify the target usage here...
Carry a M100 and all needed stuff to go out and run aerial surveys at a jobsite...
Use an auto app like MapsMadeEasy or such as the control...
Fly dual battery and a X3... 30 mins at a hop (or so)...
NDVI... 3D mapping...that sort of thing...

I have had the pleasure of building a case already. My findings were plastic cases are to heavy for the field. It's best to get a sheet of aluminum from home depot and get it bent and welded to keep it light. Those big cases you can never carry in the bush they are like 30 pounds if not more
