Hi, all:
I recently purchased a used M600 Pro on eBay. This drone has a component attached underneath which the Seller guessed may be part of a LiDAR device. I have absolutely no clue what it is, nor what its function could be. Hopefully, someone here can identify this component. Going forward, I want to remove and replace it in order to equip the drone with a Zenmuse-compatible board to (singularly) attach X5s, Z30, and XT2 gimbles.
I've attached photos of the all-metal device below. Hopefully, it's clear enough for identification by someone familiar with the component. Especially noteworthy are what appears on the top, bottom, and both sides of the device to be camera(?) lenses and perhaps a receiver or light next to the lenses.
Note also the stiff braided wire "holders"(?) underneath the device and a cooling fan outlet at the rear. The connector appearing beneath the mystery device looks like a gimbal attachment point but has no electrical connections whatsoever. The connector will rotate 90° only. Could it be some form of drop cargo assembly?
The physical dimensions are L13.5" x W6.5" x H2.5"
Thanks for any information!
Glenn
