Hi there, has anyone else operating the M400 run into this problem?
Here in Australia we are restricted to the CE regulations, as opposed to the FCC reg's that you guy's have in the States. Essentially, this means a less powerful radio has been installed to give us a max flight distance of 20km (CE) as advertised under the DJI M400 website., instead of 40km (FCC).
The issue I am having is, in DJI Pilot 2 you can only set the Max Flight Distance to 8000m and not anything higher. As well this, it will stop you unloading a flight plan to the aircraft if the distance from the launch point and the distance from the furthest point of the mission is beyond 8000m. I can't understand why the Max Flight Distance would be restricted to 8km when it can operate out to 20km.
Now the M350 max flight distance was actually 8km (CE), and I suspect DJI have carried over this default to the M400, even though it is supposed to be capable flying out to 20km under CE reg's. Is anyone running into a similar issue?
