I'm trying to determine whether it will be possible to use an M300 or M350 RTK in an area that has very particular RFI limits. I have determined that it is possible to meet this area’s restrictions using a 5 GHz transmission frequency (or higher), and power at or below the CE limit (12.5 dBm, the flights will not be in Europe), but I haven’t figured out a way to control/enforce those settings on the DJI Pilot app.
I haven’t been able to figure out exactly how to force all comms to just use one of the transmission frequency channels (i.e. the 5.8 GHz channel). These flights will be conducted in an RF quiet zone so interference isn't really a concern, the only concern is the drone itself causing contamination / damage to sensitive equipment in the surrounding environment. The flights might be somewhat long range however, likely 600m at most, so perhaps that will become a concern with these comms settings.
I know there are (seemingly illegal) ways to switch to FCC outside of the USA on smaller drones that use the DJI Fly app to enable longer range transmissions, but I haven’t seen any methods of doing the inverse (reducing the max power limit, which I can't imagine is illegal, but I could be wrong).
TL;DR Is it possible to restrict the maximum transmission power of the M300/350 RTK, possibly by switching to CE power regulations outside of Europe? Additionally, can I restrict all comms to be at the 5.8 GHz channel, and if, so how?
