Gimbal died when I was deep cycling the battery

Hello,
I have an 5x pro. I was deep cycling my second battery when I notice a burning smell. I popped the gimbal off and it seems like the smell is strongest where it connects the the inspire 1. I will call me dealer but was wondering if anyone has experienced this before? No hard landings and everything is stock. Thanks

Guess it'll be good practice to only have the camera on while it's being used.

Hopefully you'll get a warranty.

Yeah, it is only 8 months old and 5 hours of flight time. The inspire was only on for 30 minutes. I hope for an industrial unit it will be more robust in the future. My Rc heli ran for 10 years it's litre maintenance. It looks to be the 2 processing chips on the top of the gimbal. Waiting to see what my dealer can find out.
