Different versions of Matrice central board

Hi there
Can anyone please tell me whey there are two different versions of the Matrice 100 central board kit. Both versions - one with cut outs on the upper board and gimbal mount plate, and the other without - are both listed as part #24 and are the same price.

Early and Later versions...
Early have the big cutout and big plate
Later have no cutout and smaller plate

They offer parts for both models... to fix wrecked units as needed...

I have an Later and will use the X5 conversion kit shortly

to make it an X5 able version...
New top plate... X5 gimbal mount with lugs... new gear, other parts, etc...

So 3 versions of the top plates out with matching gimbal plates...
Early, Later, X5...
Most built are Later... X5 are all conversions (just out now)
Early are rare... not built very long (IIRC)
