CZI LP12 Firmware Update Issue

Hi. I'm having an issue updating my CZI LP12 light/speaker combo to the most recent firmware (V03.07.14.30). Initially, I tried to update by plugging the speaker into my computer and copying the .bin file to the speaker. It is supposed to update automatically once it is connected to the powered on M30T. The firmware never updated, and still shows the old version on the Pilot app.

The second thing I tried was to update via the DJI Assistant 2 (Enterprise Series). When I select the file to upload, I get the message: “Firmware file name error. Contact payload manufacturer for correct firmware version (8-24-0)”. I emailed CZI, but haven't heard back.

Does anyone have any advice?

In the past DJI assist never updated the LP12 system, its a 3rd party device. You need to wait to hear from CZI for the correct file and prosses to update the device

I had the same issue with the used LP12 that i bought. It kept giving the message " file is readonly". I contacted Gen Pac who advised that only CZI can clear that problem. Gen Pac will send the unit to CZI and get it fixed at no cost but turn around is 4 to 6 weeks.
