AVSS has stated that this system with the coveted FAA MOC (Means of Compliance) should be ready in Quarter 2 of 2025!
This will allow the Matrice 4 Series when following the PRS guidelines conduct Category 2/3 OOP (Operations Over People)!!!
The Mavic 3 Series currently has a AVSS PRS, but since it plugs into the payload system, you cannot use the RTK module and PRS at the same time.
The Matrice 4 Series will nothave this problem since the RTK module is now integrated into the body of the drone.
Use cases such as urban mapping can now be conducted safely and compliantly when people and moving vehicles are in the vicinity.
