AVSS Parachute Recovery System has finished ATSM 3322 testing

Great news for our Matrice 4 series drones.

AVSS has finished its compliance testing for the PRS (Parachute Recovery System) for our drones, ASTM 3322-24A.

By the end of the month the FAA DOC (Declaration of Compliance) should be listed.

When equipped with this new system, our drones will be Category 2 OOP (Operations Over People) and moving vehicles compliant!

You will not need a waiver or any other action to fly over people. Just follow all of the terms of the User Manual for the PRS and fly away!

Pricing on Pilot Institute states $1,700.

Parazero Safe Air also is releasing a PRS (Parachute Recovery System) for our Matrice 4 Series drones.

It looks very similar and also will conform with ASTM 3322-22 making it a OOP Category 2 compliant package.

Parazero claims a May 2025 timeline for FAA DOC listing and claims a slightly lower price at $1,599.
