AVSS has finished its compliance testing for the PRS (Parachute Recovery System) for our drones, ASTM 3322-24A.
By the end of the month the FAA DOC (Declaration of Compliance) should be listed.
When equipped with this new system, our drones will be Category 2 OOP (Operations Over People) and moving vehicles compliant!
You will not need a waiver or any other action to fly over people. Just follow all of the terms of the User Manual for the PRS and fly away!
