Since this thread got decapitated by the original poster, we started another one here to pull all the X5 compatible lens info together. Please add comments to that thread if you have tested listed or unlisted lenses.
Havent tested this lens, no. Only tested the obvious 5 lenses and then just pulled together info from other threads and forums. The point of this thread was to allow people to report findings - Please test and report!
We've been looking for a definitive list of compatible lenses for the X5. There seem to be various incomplete lists around the web but the original post on this thread is gone (anyone screen grab it?), this one is locked and DJI's list is out of date now. So have started to pull together info...
If you follow Bloom, surprised you havent seen this or this released last week (and some others here) in which he says he is using the official X5 Osmo adaptor (currently unreleased).
I did try adjusting settings. Works fine with photo mode but not for video. I'm now having issues with other lens and the same issue so it seems like it may be something else, connectors maybe. Will do more investigating.
I bought this lens and it only seems to work in photo mode. Video mode is just black, nothing visible when on idle or recording.
Anyone else got this issue? Or did I buy the wrong lens?
Cheers.
Thanks for the input. I use the C1 and C2 for other functions so that isnt ideal. What would make most sense then is to be able to remap all the controller buttons as needed. Given the usual DJI restrictions, I assume this isnt possible?
I have an x5 and the gimbal mode through the app permanently defaults to follow mode on each power up. I use free mode mainly so this means changing it every time I change the lipo. Does anyone know if there is a way to set the default?
