X5 noob...What's causing these artifacts?

Just put my new X5 into the air for some landscape shots yesterday. I noticed these weird color separation artifacts at the top of the ridgeline way off in the distance - any ideas what is causing this? I was using an Olympus 25mm lens, settings were ISO 100, f4.0, 1/2200th shutter. I took a series of shots stopping down the aperture each time, and the artifacts seemed to get progressively worse.

Try ISO 200. That seems to be the sweet spot of the sensor.

This is chromatic aberration, which is also known as color fringing. Googling those terms will get you to lots of articles about it. If you use Lightroom it is easy to remove. In the Develop settings, under Lens Corrections/Profile, turn on the Remove Chromatic Aberration check box.
