Testing Zenmuse X5 camera without the lens

Hi Guys,

Picked up a Zenmuse X5 camera on ebay and was looking to gather some parts beforehand in the repair process of the unit.

Im guessing from the literature that the video feed and gimbal will not activate at all without a lens installed ?

Any recommendations for an affordable all around daily use lens ? I want to get into the x5 but not too sure.

I currently repair, balance, and tweak the X3 line of cameras if anyone is interested in more info on those units. Experimenting with the X5 at the moment as my first victim.

I think the most cheap one is the oly 14-42mm or 45mm.
