I'm flying the Matrice 4T.
When the battery is low and triggers a RTH, the drone returns towards the flight base, which is great.
I usually take control to land it, in some cases I need to if we are hand-catching.
With other drones, switching to Sports mode and back gives me control, but with the M4T this doesn't seem to happen?
What is the method of taking control from RTH please?

  • All DJI drones operate similarly. This is the procedure for the Consumer drones, which the Enterprise drones also employ. Substitute Pilot app for DJI Fly and RC Plus for the remote controller.
  • =========

  • On the remote controller:
    • Press the Flight Pause Button once to brake and hover the drone.
    • Press the RTH Button again (after it has been initiated) to cancel it and regain full control.
  • On the DJI Fly app:
    • Tap the [X] icon in the camera view to exit Return to Home.
  • Important: If the RTH was triggered by a critical low battery warning, it may immediately re-trigger after you cancel it.
However, when you are so close to home, Critical Low Battery RTH is unlikely to ret-rigger RTH.
