Search and Rescue - for animals

Just wanted to post a success story using the M30t. I got a call from a friend who's dog broke out of their yard and took off into a 25 acre wooded area. Seems the dog got freaked out from the fireworks and bolted. They searched for a day without success and asked me to bring out my sUAS (the M30t). First search was at sunset and I did spot the dog using the thermal camera and then verified with the zoom lens, but he took off before they could get to him. Went back up that night and found him at the edge of the trees next to an open lot and they were able to retrieve him using a four-wheeler. I continue to be impressed with this drone and hope to use it in many other public safety applications.

Very nice story with a great ending.

The tools we have available have matured very quickly in the small time that I have been in the drone field.
I am truly impressed with the capabilities of the various systems.

Just wanted to add one more where we found a dog that was missing for 3 days. We were able to spot it, mark the position and send the GPS coordinates to a ground search team.
