RC Plus 2 Controller

I have searched DJI and the web looking for a manual that explains all the features of the RC Plus 2 controller. I have downloaded the Matrice 4 manual but it does not give me much information on the different functions of the controller . Curently I am looking for how to change it from JPG to Raw.

The manual is a bit sketchy at times... after connecting it is in the 4E with the wide camera settings.

I check that out tomorrow and see if I can find the wide camera setting

A word of warning on using RAW files with the RC Plus 2. The software has a tendency to reset the photo settings to JPG. I've been caught a few times capturing JPG instead of RAW even though I had previously configured the photos to save in RAW format. So now I always double check whenever I switch before different modes on the controller.

Yeah, the manuals can be a bit light on details, especially when it comes to controller functions like this. For switching from JPG to RAW, try going into the camera view in the Pilot 2 app, tap the settings icon, then look under photo format, you should see options there.

Sometimes the settings aren’t where you’d expect, but they’re usually in the app rather than buried in the controller menus.

I downloaded the RC Plus manual as most of the functionality has remained the same with the exception of a couple of port locations being moved. As far as changing the image format, with the drone connected and in the camera view, make sure your in photo mode and then click on the three slider bars on the right side of the screen, then click on image format and then choose your format and that should do it for you....: )
