Payload Drop System

Has anyone explored a payload release system for the M30? I have 2 operational use cases I was thinking i would want to address -
- dropping communication device, or other supplies to remote team or stranded victim
- Carry a gas meter into a hazmat situation

I have done the usual google searches, but i havent seen anything out there.

I use a strap for gas monitor with a long tube, hoping not to test the rotor wash. Looking to interface the unit myself to use a drop system.

good point on the tube. i've been trying to adapt the sensor/drop system from a mavic - just the light sensor and the actual servo that does the drop, but no success yet.
