Hello, coming to you live from Albuquerque New Mexico!
Just starting out with the matrix M4 team, this is a fun little toy to play with!
So much to learn about the drone world AND I also gotta get into learning about inspections and how to use thermal imaging. This will be a side gig, but I’m hoping this turns into full-time, so I can work for my **** self!

Welcome and congratulations on your new aircraft.

The Matrice 4T is a powerful Enterprise drone that performs like a much more expensive drone.

You might want to start by fully reading both the User Manual and Maintenance Manual so that you can know about all of its features and know how to plan for and conduct inspections and maintenance on the aircraft.

The drone will allow you to offer a lot of different services and you need to find out what services are in demand in your area.

The hard part starts now, learning how to conduct inspections, mapping and then produce a product that can be easily delivered to your client, meeting what they need.

Thanks for the advice. This is a bit overwhelming. I jotted down a couple of notes based on what you said to keep me focused, in check and calm. Thanks for that.

I am a Dji Enterprise agent from China. I came across this forum by accident and I‘m curious how you got the Dji products because the US government has already banned the import of foreign drone products.

If you truly work for DJI then you need to keep up with your company and what is truly going on.

There are many reasons DJI drones are not fully available.

1. Claims DJI uses forced labor. This keeps DJI drones blocked at Customs, but some get through legitimately.
2. NDAA Ban. THis only bans future models. Future models will not get FCC licensing, so they cannot be legally sold in the US.
3. With the above two items taking their toll, DJI has either not released or only partially released certain models in the US.
4. It is still perfectly legal for people in the US to buy DJI drones from DJI unauthorized sources. They will be activated by DJI but will have no warranty support and no DJI Care available.

The last DJI drone to obtain an FCC license is the Avata 360. It can be legally sold in the US. DJI may not release or only partially release it in the US, but you can still buy it legally from the gray market.

Even without a ban, as an agent, we cannot sell the products abroad.

Hard to imagine how careful one needs to be when using a drone that costs tens of thousands of dollars and has no DJI care.
