Hi my name is Dan and I don't own a Matrice.
But I joined this forum wanting to know more information about it. I am currently studying for 107 and a new drone owner of an Air 2 - yes a real rookie. My goal is after I retire is to find a second career and a drone pilot is under serious consideration.
Living in California with all the wildfires I would think inspection of power lines / fire damage would be high on the list of needed services. We have a second home in a small coastal town in central California and both the local police and fire department use drones. I have approached both and they are open to adding people to their volunteer drone pilot programs.
Why am I here?
The Matrice looks to be a workhorse for enterprise jobs and I would like to hear first hand the what (cameras, thermals, payload), how, and the why you fly the Matrice. I look forward to seeing your responses and participating where I can - I think it would be very interesting to hear how this beast is being used daily.
Thanks,
Dan
