Has anyone successfully used Zenmuse H20T on Matrice 400?

Hi everyone,

I recently acquired a DJI Matrice 400 and I'm looking to mount a Zenmuse H20T on it for infrastructure inspection missions (bridges, power lines, buildings).

I know the H20T is not officially listed as compatible with the M400 (only the H30T is), but I've seen some sources mentioning it could work.

Has anyone here actually tested or flown the H20T on a Matrice 400?

Specifically, I'd love to know:
- Does it physically mount and power up correctly?
- Do all sensors work (zoom, wide, thermal, laser rangefinder)?
- Are intelligent functions like Smart Track and PinPoint available?
- Any firmware issues or limitations to be aware of?
- Is the DJI SKYPORT V3 required or does it mount directly?

I'm considering buying a used H20T to pair with my M400 setup but I don't want to invest without knowing it actually works in the field.

Any real-world feedback would be hugely appreciated!

Thanks

I am trying to currently accomplish this. My problem is that the .bin files suggested for use are not automagically working when I attach the gimbal per the L2 instructions HERE . I did however have luck using the .ZIP to and offline update through Pilot2 app done via controller. There looks to only be .bin available for the H20T, I will report back if i find a fix or resolution. Hopefully someone chimes in. I was told the H20t would work with our M400 (previously on a M300) so fingers crossed.

Hello.

I have a similar problem where I need the Zenmuse H20n to work on my M400. I have contacted DJI for help since the H20N has some specific specs that i need (8x optical zoom on thermal sensor) and can not get from the h30t which i also own. I guess they have made it so that the m400 doesnt support the h20n because they want us to buy the h30t, but perhaps they will help when they understand that the h20n has a specific niche that the h30t cant fill. Please let me know if you get it to work with the h20t.

Kind regards, Langefar
