USA Firmware required.

I don't know if I read this anywhere, but being certified under Part 107, does the firmware have to be the latest to be legal? Thanks, if so what is the tried and true Inspire 1 Pro x5 firmware we should use? Any glitches?
What limits have they incorporated?

No, it's not a regulated requirement. I usually keep my firmware relatively up to date once it seems to be fairly big free.
