New M100 user. Can someone give me a brief explanation when I would need the M100 repair file?

Also had my m100 fail during upgrade, however i found N1 Assistant 3.4.4 on the web, its still on dji's website:
http://download.dji-innovations.com/downloads/dev/Matrice/M100_N1_Assistant_3.4.4_Installer.exe
Maybe it still helps someone revive his M100.
