When X7 focus assist is set to ON and press an area of the display, does anyone see a brief zoomed part of the picture that is sharp?
It only works in Photo Mode. When X7 focus assist is set to ON and press an area of the display, does anyone see a brief zoomed part of the picture that is sharp?
Unfortunatelly the video feed in Photo Mode is of such a low quality that you can't saymmarian, regardless of mode, my Focus Assist image is pathetically soft; every image. Are you seeing a sharp in-focus Focus Assist Zoom-in image?
Any sort of focus assist magnification is totally useless and pointless.mmarian, regardless of mode, my Focus Assist image is pathetically soft; every image. Are you seeing a sharp in-focus Focus Assist Zoom-in image?
Yep, that's it. Focus peaking is the way to go. But I wished the video feed image quality on the CS in Photo Mode would be at least as good as it is in Video when Broadcast Mode is selected, which I believe is 1080p. Then I could tell if the photo was in focus or not not even without the Focus Assist magnification. (which, I agree is totally useless in its current iteration and implementation )Any sort of focus assist magnification is totally useless and pointless.
Use peaking for nailing focus which is what it was designed for.
