    X5 video "lag"

Are you talking about the little jumps when panning? It looks to me like a frame-rate mis-match. Is your output a factor of your shutter speed (50fps, 25fps etc for a shutter speed of 1/50)? If you are recording at 24fps or 60fps with a 1/50 shutter then it could cause this.

how to install X5 mount elswhere

How are you going to control the camera? You will need the complete CAN system from an Inspire to make it work I would think. Maybe an Osmo handle disassembled and attached to the T810 might work? Wifi range is only a couple of metres though.

Best zoom lens do for the X5?

The 14-42 does have a certain amount of barrel and pin distortion. You just need to correct it as part of your post processing workflow. It's not a great lens to be honest but it's very useful in the air to have the ability to zoom.

    Oylmpus 45mm lens and balancing

It doesn't touch anything that moves. Just the side near the lens.

    Oylmpus 45mm lens and balancing

You won't have an issue with the 14-42mm pancake. It's a tight fit and the zoom ring will touch against the gimbal but other than that, it works just fine. You will need the balancer ring though.

Best zoom lens do for the X5?

Upgrading to X5 from Inspire V1

No issues at all. Buy X5, install mounting plate, attach X5, upgrade to Inspire Pro firmware, IMU calibration, fly.

    X 5 setting for photo/ video

There are no do-it-all settings. The X5 is a proper camera and so you need to understand photography and what all of the settings do in order for you to decide on what settings you need for a given shot. Read up on aperture, focal-length, ISO, hyperfocal distance, and shutter speed. There are...

DJI X5 Lens Test Olympus 14-42mm

You will need the X5 adaptor plate and the X5. Once you have these then just install the Inspire Pro firmware and you are good to go. You should buy the X5 rather than the X5R unless you need to shoot RAW video and have the equipment and workflow to deal with it. I'm assuming that because you...

Someone talk me out of returning my X5 Pro

Re-calibrate your lens then use manual focus set to the hyperfocal distance. Job done.

Inspire 1 Pro + X5 body only (Where to buy?)

You can add the X5 to any Inspire. I have an X5 on my very early Inspire A and it's fine. You cannot buy the Inspire Pro without lens but there is no reason why you shouldn't just buy the X5 camera body, the adaptor plate and then just upgrade your Inspire. Bare in mind that you will need a new...

DJI X5 Lens Test Olympus 14-42mm

How do we go about calibrating this lens? I mean, if we calibrate for the hyperfocal distance at 42mm it's going to require a different calibration at 14mm. Or am I over thinking this?
