Was more referring to the effect that shortening the leg tubes will bring the "feet" (Horizontal tubes that meet the ground) closer to the AC's midpoint and each other. This will reduce the overall 'on ground' footprint and reduce stability. Engineering 101.

In reality, most inspections are very quick to accomplish. A 30 minute endurance isn't that applicable nor particularly necessary for that use case. Mapping and photogrammetry definitely, but when you are going from point to point, a quick landing for a battery change is no issue.

As if anyone in their right mind would shell out this sort of coin for an X5R given DJI's track record on product quality at release. Give it a couple of weeks afterwards and the net will be awash with people complaining about faults and DJI promising firmware fixes that are 'coming soon'.

It's a hard sell at that price. Those who need then will buy, but too exxy for the enthusiast.

Yes, I am keen to see the capabilities for stills imaging but am not convinced by the sample so far that the x5 is worth the money.
