I signed up a while ago, but recently purchased an M300, so I'm sort of reintroducing myself...

We've gotten more comfortable with the work flow. And this endeavor hasn't been without issues, but at this point in time (starting today actually), I believe we have nearly perfected our work flow. Up to now we've been doing a bunch of small 20 acre-ish jobs. We have our first larger job...

New Mexico. It probably wouldn't. We have 4 pairs of batteries fully charged, which should cover us up to 100 acres or so (maybe more - more testing required). Anything over that and we would bring the generator. With a generator we can continuously fly on the 4 sets of batteries we have...

Hey doods! Full disclosure; I signed up for my MatricePilots account quite a while ago, but didn't start flying the Matrice line until recently. So I thought I would sort of "re-introduce" myself to the forum. So one of our business partners recently purchased an M300 RTK / YellowScan™ LiDAR...

    It fits!!

Hey doods! For those of you who are unsure if the M600 Pro will fit in a Mini Cooper Countryman - behold... It doesn't get much tighter than that! Amazingly, the case slides right in with very little effort and pretty much zero clearance. If the case were 1/4" taller, I would have...

M600Pro - Light Bridge 2 Dual Band Switching

FYI, "band switching" is just for video feed. Not control, which is 2.4Ghz (as purported already in this thread). D

USA DJI NFZ - new block experienced

As somewhat of a hackerer™ myself, I'd be very interested in a review of the NLD offerings. D

USA DJI NFZ - new block experienced

That's par for the course. That's why I hacked my way out of that Chinese soup. If I want to fly over a jail, I'll do what you did, and get permission from the jail - which is exactly what I did on a mapping job last summer. D

My Inspire 1 "hack" is really just a combination of legacy firmware, software (including iOS), locking it all down, and then the 32-channel hack on the Go App. NLD may give you a software package that gives you the same functionality I get without all the hacking. 1. No logins to the DJI...

USA DJI NFZ - new block experienced

Interesting. I experienced a very similar situation about 2 years ago. After shooting a construction site every 2 weeks for about a year, all of the sudden, out of the blue, for no reason, I was told I needed to "login" to my DJI account. My Inspire 1 was locked down. I couldn't even spin up...

    Matrice 600 Pro - Lightbridge 2 Firmware update v1.1.81

Copy that. Though I have flown and set up a few M600 Pros, I don't actually own one. So I'm not really an expert on that platform. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of M600 owner/operators out there, so there's not a lot of hacking going on in that community. You may have to blaze the...

    Matrice 600 Pro - Lightbridge 2 Firmware update v1.1.81

Your question is too vague to be answered. D

First Night Shoot and Client Isn't Happy With Footage

I would also recommend the use of ISO800. Before I did my night shooting for this company, I did a bunch of night time test flights. The Inspire 1 produces an .srt file (subtitle file), which allows me to view camera settings in real time. With this, I was able to figure out which settings...

First Night Shoot and Client Isn't Happy With Footage

Watching this thread with great interest.... Like you, atmosphericarts, I'm fairly versed in photography/cinematography, but am not a schooled expert. So, not to muddy this thread, but I have to ask. This sentence confused me a bit: "(DLog, wide-open aperture, 180* shutter, ProRes 422HQ). I...

Please explain EI mode and how I should use it

First you have to translate to English. Living in N.M. for many decades, I'm very wise in the ways of Spanish. "El mode" in English is "The Mode." This should really help clear things up....<;^) D

Disassemble X5R to reach the sensor

Good plan. Most guys have regulators on their compressor setups, so start @ 10 PSI. I would work up to MAYBE 40 PSI. I don't think I would go much higher than that. But go up in baby steps, as it may take only 15 or 20 PSI to dislodge all the specks. That's a tough call. Acetone is NOT...
