dougcjohn, I've found the M600 to fly like a dream. However, I've attempted to fly and control a Sony A7R IV, Canon EOS-MkIII/5s/5sr, Hasselblad H5D-50c and RED Komodo 6k and they all mount on the RoninMX and fly smoothly but are impossible to control without using the camera's Bluetooth App to...
Has anyone been able to control a Sony a7R IV or RED Komodo flying an M600/RoninMX with a Remote Start Stop Module RSS-1? If you know, I'll guess you don't want flowers or a box of candy, but I'll GREATLY APPRECIATE you sharing your wisdom.
I fly both platforms (Inspire 2 and M600) and they are absolutely different and shouldn't be mixed. However, if a single forum makes more management sense AND there are clear categories within the combined forum (like the varied Matrice categories here), then I don't see a problem with combining.
dougcjohn, thanks for weighing in on the Ronin-MX RSS dialog. It has been an 8 month 8 day nightmare with horrible DJI Support. I'm on the verge of flying the M600 off the Virginia coast, cutting power and contributing a smallish artificial reef. There are little specks of promise from several...
dmvara, the SRW-60G is a convenient wireless way to get the HDMI picture signal from the camera to the aircraft to the Radio Controller and Display. It is not required. The picture can go from the camera into the aircraft via HDMI cable direct. The actual footage files go to a drive attached to...
Niki, I have a good friend who shoots his 8k RED on a Ronin-MX. I think your idea is worth trying. We tried updating mine using two Macs at his studio, but maybe using the App on one of his computers will get through to one of my two RSS devices. Thanks for the thought.

Niki, yes, have tried to update the RSS from 5 different computers.; 4 Macs with varied versions of macOSX and one Windows machine..... all got the message “update failed..power-cycle and retry.” Over the 8 month ordeal, I must have attempted the update 50-100 times.... transporting it from my 3...
I'm at my wits end with a M600/Ronin-MX/Sony a7R IV. It's been out of service for 8 months and a day. Came back yesterday after 3 weeks in DJI Service with same problem it left with... cannot take a photo or start/stop video from Remote Controller.
With M600 OFF, using DJI GB (Gimbal) App...
dougcjohn, This thread is a bit old, but just fyi, I had a dialog with the Hasselblad aerial Tech in CO and there is a box to control the H-series Hasselblad but it only works with the newer USB-C cable input bodies. I shoot a H5D-50cWiFi and it's Firewire and won't work. I wanted to fly the H5D...
dmvara,
I fly an M600 with a Sony now but have flown the X5S and X5R on it with the support frame and pieces. Since I'm using the Sony, I have the support pieces, X5S and X5R for sale. They're pristine... Like New. If you're in the U.S. and interested, I'd be happy to pass the info to you...
mickydd, ah, yes, thank you. I try not to ship outside U.S. since paperwork, shipping and all makes it "awful."
Good luck making your M600 fly and shoot great images.
Chris
Mickydd, Niki correct, Ronin-MX male clamps into the female clamp pictured. Loose cable plugs into top of Ronin-MX providing communications with the Remote Control and footage/images on the display.
Assuming you didn't get the Ronin-MX, you might investigate other gimbal options. DJI's support...
Steven, will be worth a try to check your “Bandwidth Allocation”. That’s the usual culprit when my HDMI signal isn’t getting through.....although I’m getting the HDMI signal from a Sony a7R IV through a SRW 60G and not Z30. In GO App, three line menu at top right corner > HD > Bandwidth...
