    Sensor Cleaning

The x5/x5s sensors are sealed. When you look into the camera without the lens on you will see the thing piece of glass that is roughly 5mm above the sensor itself. If you have actual dust on the sensor then it is a faulty seal and dji will swap out the camera if still under warranty...

    Sensor Cleaning

Just so we are all on the same page here. The X5 sensor is 'sealed' behind a thin piece of uv plastic. So if you have dust on the uv plastic when you look into it then you are lucky and it is easy to clean...if you truly have dust on the sensor there is no way to get in behind that sheet of uv...

X5 Pro DLog random bleeding of magenta

Every now and again we see bleeding of the magenta to cyan colors straight out of the camera when shooting in d-log. We use the style of -3 -3 -3, no matter which lens we use or filters we see this happen on many occasions. I am curious is this is a known 'feature' when using the x5 pro due to...

DJI X5 Lens Test Olympus 14-42mm

I was thinking this at first as well but then dji is now selling a balance ring for this lens and state that one is needed...and there is no way the app would know if you have it on or off unless there is a toggle option that i don't see when we use ours.

DJI X5 Lens Test Olympus 14-42mm

Add the new balance ring from DJI and it will help smooth out the jitters while zooming in and out. Issue will always be that the forward weight of the camera will increase as you zoom due to the lenses moving further out from the housing and visa versa when retracting

DJI X5 Lens Test Olympus 14-42mm

The issue is that when you power off the drone it cuts the battery off 100% so no power to pull the lens back in to travel mode. I am sure in a future update there will a button on the app when you use this lens that allows you to shrink it down before cutting the power out.
