Log questions

Hey guys

I have a little question about the colour profile on the Raw camera. Its my understanding that shooting log does nothing to the raw images. They are raw after all.

My main question is this. I want to start converting all the raw images to pro res 4444 after a shoot. I give clients the RAW images but due to storage I can't keep these on my own system, but want to keep all the good shots for my reel etc. As the images are not shot on a LOG profile when I export them out to prores the pro res is not log.

How do i export a pro res log profile from the raw images?

Just export as pro res 442 HQ.

There is an option to apply different colour space profiles on export in cinelight. Rec709, sRGB etc including D Log. It's on the panel options on the right
