Collision detection acting weird

My M300 RTK for the past few weeks has been acting like I'm heading into a wall while flying horizontally with no obstruction in sight with clear skies. I figured it was the horizontal collision detection, which it was and turned it off. I don't want to have to keep this off though, is there a certain distance anyone could reccomend to keep it from freaking out as I've tried nearly all of them.
