So they've released their CAP on the new changes coming in to play at the end of the month... and I've just seen some info from NQE's stating the need for ops manuals to replace Pilot in Charge ("PiC" with either 'Remote Pilot' (RP) and/or 'SUA operator' depending on if it's the actual person operating the aircraft controls or the person operating the company
- what a total waste of time & effort, simple bureaucratic pettiness - did Jim, Humphrey & Bernard from "Yes Minister" move to the CAA by any chance?
As to the other changes, well, "ANO 2016 (as amended by SI 2018 No. 623)" really trips off the tongue
And now instead of CAP 393 articles 94, 95 and 241 we have Articles 94, 94A, 94B, 95 and 241
Oh, and don't forget to clarify the meaning of commercial operation in your Ops manual too if you had that in to start with
And having jumbled everything up to add those in to your Ops manual this year, next year you'll have even more to do in advance of the junk being inflicted from Nov 2019 (when they get around to making it up).
hey ho... one step forward, two steps back...
