I was surprised with sharpness difference between prores and h264. I got the licenses to film in 5k and use full potential of x5s. Raw (dng) quality is amazing.

I think when I did the test I had .240 firmware. Now I have .330 and I have no plans to upgrade it at this moment. Here is one of my latest videos that filmed with i2 x5s (firmware .330) half shot in dng 5.2k and half prores 422

It just works in my I2 x5s without any magic moves. I think it because I have pretty old firmware on I2 and I have no plans to upgrade it in nearest feature. I think I have version 0330...

I've shot few shots with Laowa 7.5mm, not everything. Nice shots of the castle!

I just tested laowa 7.5 recording raw (dng 5.2k) with my i2 x5s. It works perfectly fine.

I didn't shoot in DNG yet. I would do a test shoot when I'll get my X5S back after repair from dji.

The lightweight version doesn't need balancing. I placed uv and nd filters and the front became more heavier. So just with 1 filter it should be fine. P.s. mount in light version made from metal.

Finally I got a chance to test my new Laowa 7.5mm lens on my Inspire 2. I love the result. It is super wide and distortion is very low. A short video test in 4k
