That GX8 does look like a pretty solid camera. The Pen F reminds me a lot of my X100-T.

I'm curious if they are trying to work with DJI to have compatibility. Interesting on the 158 number, I guess now we know? So yeah the lightweight version puts it just under the max weight.

I am curious to this too. I'd rather the metal. It appears the standard is 170g, which is on the heavy side for things. Even at 150g the lightweight version is heavier than the olympus options

I'm interested in the 7.5mm too. Would be nice to see it better supported though. I'm trying to figure out if the 12mm is superior enough in construction to warrant the double price over the other lens in the series...

I think I’m gonna skip on the 25mm and get something else. The 45mm has a great look to it, really draws the horizon in to you. So maybe the 12mm or 17mm for me to try next. The 25mm didn’t feel very special, just felt like I had cropped the frame.

Does tripod mode help?

I have read that a lot of MFT photogs feel the DJI 15mm (rebranded Panasonic Leica 15mm) is a "best kept secret" because you can find them used for $300ish. I don't think there is anything wrong with the lens myself, other than when you start trying to complement, oly 17mm is a bit too similar...

I bought it cause they told me I could always return if I didn't like it. We'll see if it's worth $299 used.
