    USA Recertification Test

Just as a follow up. Did a very quick review through the main subjects in Drone Pilot Ground School (skipping weather and loadings) and then took their recertification specific test a few times. Ended up passing with a 100% score on the final test. So yeah, just a little pumped ;) Thanks again...

    USA Recertification Test

Awesome, thanks! I'll check out that app. I think I'm going to review the entire course just to brush up on everything. Even if it's not in the recert test it'll be good as a refresher. Passed with a 90 originally, maybe I can bump that number up a bit ;)

    USA Recertification Test

Thanks! So nothing new compared to the initial test? Yeah, they try to trick us with those questions way too much!

    USA Recertification Test

Thanks, but not looking for recommendations. As I mentioned, I already have access to a great course (highly recommend) from when I initially got certified in 2016. Just asking if I can brush up using the same course or if there is new material in the recertification test that I need to learn...

    USA Recertification Test

So I'm due to recertify my Part 107 by Sep 1st and I had a quick question some of you might have some knowledge on. I still have access to my initial training course I purchased through Drone Pilot Ground School. I know the recertification test is slightly different than the initial test, so do...

    X5S LUTs

He's coming from Final Cut, but it's very similar to the AMIRA_Default_LogC2Rec709 in Premiere. Like they mentioned, it's a little flat so it'll need some touch up, but it get's you pretty close.

So has the DJI X5 has reached it's EOL

Yeah, I strongly considered keeping mine. But the benefits outweighed the cost for me. And I don't care if it has sense and avoid or not. I'm never going to trust a little sensor to keep an $8k machine from running into a wall, sorry DJI [emoji57] Sent from my iPhone using InspirePilots

So has the DJI X5 has reached it's EOL

I definitely agree with you. It all depends on the users needs/requirements. For most people the I1 is a more than capable craft. I still love it, but for me I'll benefit a lot by having a few of the features the I2 has to offer. Other people not so much. Sent from my iPhone using InspirePilots

So has the DJI X5 has reached it's EOL

Yep, a lot of people were complaining about that with the I1, so it's good that they listened and incorporated it in the I2. Not to mention they also included multiple other redundancies with the IMU, barometer, and a few others components. Sent from my iPhone using InspirePilots

So has the DJI X5 has reached it's EOL

It actually does, I don't think it will let itself takeoff with only one battery. But if one battery goes bad in flight it will still be able to fly and land itself. Heres what the product page on DJI says about it: "Dual batteries mean that if a problem occurs on one battery the other is able...

    Optimum X5 shutter speeds?

I can say that with the Phantom 3 Pro putting the shutter in the 100 to 200 area is definitely good advice. Doubling the frame rate almost gives it a choppy look. With the X5 though I always double the frame rate, gives it a more cinematic feel. Sent from my iPhone using InspirePilots

So has the DJI X5 has reached it's EOL

Personally I'm extremely happy with the new Inspire 2 release. As much as I love the Inspire 1 with the X5 camera I've always been disappointed with its flight time and the fact that it doesn't have active tracking. Having both of these features along with battery redundancy in the Inspire 2 has...
