Sure JayBurd... the DJI 15mm has a narrow FOV this makes it sensitive to movement ... the12mm Olympus has a wider FOV which makes it less sensitive... when yawing the more sensitive the lens is the harder it is to get a smooth yaw...
Spent some time with the X5 12mm today... practising yaw control... starting to get a feel for this lens... its still a touchy lens but its manageable...
I am still in the learning stage with this camera .. not being a photographer the transition from the X3 to the X5 was a big step for me... but... the difference with the 12mm as far as shooting video and controling yaw is much better than the 15mm....
I
I am yawing the Inspire... i think you will find so are the other guy's... the 15mm lens is fantastic but it has its limitations... the 12mm is a much easy'er lens for controlling yaw...
Thanks Cloud Prime... yes mate DLog.. your right about the15mm it has limited video use because of its FOV... the 12mm has a much more versatile lens for video... i am so glad i got the 12mm...
In a word ..YES ..that is the reason everyone is having trouble with video and the 15mm... totally different FOV... the 12mm has a much better FOV for smoother video control...
Sorry mate it was late, i was rushing and concentrating on the FOV...i did not take much notice of the settings.., the light was poor ....not the best conditions to show image quality ...
It was not the best time to do the test (just before dark) .. i was more focused on the different FOV.... just had time to grab these 2 takes... the FOV is important to me... as i do a lot of FPV flying... i have a lot to learn on how to get the best out of these lenses...
