I have done the calibration butbit always used one of a few filters.. It sunny here so a filter is almost always a must. I may try a new set to see if they are causing it.

I fly mine off the deck of ships all the time. No issues. Calibrate your compass and IMU before you go. The only real issue is that calibration of the compass doesn't work well with all the metal around. Youll get some great shots though.
