USA Flying inside a large building. And the FAA

Makes sense I guess. If you were in any class airspace (B, C, D, E) surface on up, but inside a building, you'd be pretty silly to request clearance.

    USA Recurrent training

I used them for the initial exam and thought they were great as well. Don't you have lifetime access? If so, then I'd say stick with them.

    Geo-Fencing newbie

Thanks looks like I'm okay there. It's good to know you can go on the site and unlock in advance if need be. Still a PIA to have to worry about it though,

A couple miles NE of the Ultra Light airport in Glendale. That's 11 miles or so from PHX.

    Geo-Fencing newbie

I have an out of state gig in a couple weeks that will put me in the boundary of Sky Harbor Class Bravo airspace that begins at 4000'. Even though I'll be in Class Golf space for what I'm doing, will DJI lock me out as I'm in the boundaries of the aforementioned?

    autofocus x5

I notice the focus is disabled using Spotlight Pro. I will have to do more testing.

    autofocus x5

Curious as to what it means in DJI's pilot handbook on camera settings: "Enabled AFC Mode: AFC stands for ‘Auto Focus Continuous,’ and if this is toggled on then the camera will automatically focus when you start recording." That isn't continuous focus per se?

    autofocus x5

I have a question on the best way to do a video whereby you start fairly close to an object (3 meters or so), then zoom away from and around it using Spotlight Pro. Tap the screen at a decent distance to refocus? Seems to be the only way I can think of.

    Zing Drone Delivery

I did a forum search and nothing came up. Does anybody know anything about these guys? They're advertising for 107 PICs. Zing Drone Deliveries

USA Regulation Question - Elementary School

    Way better sectionals.

USA Flying inside a large building. And the FAA

Maybe it applies only to manned pilots.

USA Flying inside a large building. And the FAA

Was there ever an answered? Seems to me that if the FAA has no control of automobile driving, then why do you have report if you get a DUI? Therefore it seems to me if you flew over people indoors and somebody was injured they could pull your ticket.

    Offline FAA Cert Prep/Course

I was going to go the free route but decided to take a structured course. remotepilot101.com worked for me. They have a pretty good help desk to answer technical questions you might have along the way. The tuition is lifetime access, meaning you can use them for the refresher exams.

USA Regulation Question - Elementary School

Sectionals are your first go-to. Airmap flags schools as well, but not as a no fly. They are "sensitive areas".

USA Notifying untowered Class E airports

It's not all Class E Surface. Check out this memo. http://www.uavexpertnews.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/01/Gardner.png Also this FAA video https://www.faa.gov/tv/?mediaId=2062
