I would think over time the better its balanced the less strain on the gimbal. Just makes sense to me. I read a lot of pilots with great results balancing 60mm and other variable zoom lenses. I wonder if that will cause a problem down the road. The shots can be pretty epic though

Do the Firecrest need to be balanced on the 15mm or can I just simply attach?

I've been looking at the Firecrest online tonight. They seem very good. 50% off doesn't hurt either. Can I simply attach them to the stock 15mm lens? It's my first Inspire so I never had to balance one.
